How my journey began

Inemesit, a native of Washington DC, got her start in the legal ebilling world after being recruited by a prominent IP law firm as their first eBilling Coordinator. In this role, not only was, Inemesit able to gain extensive knowledge for ebilling, but she was also able to hire and successfully train several staff members with no prior ebilling experience. In this role, she also created and wrote a custom eBill Manual and tracking system for the IP firm, which is still being used by current employees today. 

She received accolades for getting outstanding ebilling AR over 6 months old under $250,000 (which was a significant change) and keeping it there for the remainder of her tenure with the firm. It was not long before she realized that ebilling was her passion. 

She then accepted a position as ebilling Administrator for a general practice law firm with a heavy concentration in IP. Here she managed all aspects of ebilling functions for the firm, including but not limited to training large groups of timekeepers and professional staff of all levels, billing guideline review, and implementation and appeals resolutions. Noting similar departmental organizational and staffing issues in all accounting departments, she saw a necessity for an organization that fully focused on the ebilling functions and resolutions. 

Inemesit continued to work as the primary ebilling support at another firm for a couple of years before deciding that it was time to put her vision of Smart eBill Team, a legal electronic billing and consulting firm, into practice.
